Default How to Remove Gas Tank on a '98???

I have a '98 gas cart and somehow the tank got a leak. I need to remove it to fix the leak but when I started to unbolt it I realized there's no way it's going to come out with the body installed. Am I missing something? Is there a magic removal method I'm missing? Taking the body off is not something I want to do. Thanks.

A full body removal on my 2000 txt took only about 15 minutes. That was the front and rear panels. It's just a few rivets and is very simple. I'm not sure if this is the only way to remove the tank, but if it is the only way the body removal is easy. It's not near the headache you think it is!!

I also have a 98 TXT with a leak in my gas tank. I have been looking at other possible solutions once I found out you have to remove the body to replace the gas tank. Does anyone have any possible solutions to this besides removing the body?
Thanks.

I know this post is old, but can someone enlighten me on how it's so easy to pull the body? Mine is riveted to the frame underneath the rubber floor...
