Default Brake Pedal Sticks!

just got a 95 ez gas cart and the brake pedal sticks down when you step on it! i have to pull it back up by hand! wanted to know if its an easy fix and what to do or what part i have to get to make it work properly?

There is no single answer to your question because there are to many items that affect the cable movement. You need to inspect the pivot points for rust, friction, or missing return springs. Follow the movement from front to rear while some one operates the brakes.

It is a coil type spring which installs at the peddle pivot point. When they break they flop around. Otherwise they do not move.

When I got my cart it was sticking too, my problem was the big bolts that hold it together at the pivot point underneath the driver side floor board was rusted. I took the nut lose and little put some WD 40 on it hit it with a hummer back and forth a couple time and it loosened right up.
