Re: Marathon Price???
If I was buying it for ME ... I'd give $500-600 tops (but the paint, frame, etc better be **** good). If I was SELLING it ... Prob ask around $1200 if I was in a good mood, but I'd take the first $G and run if someone offered it in cash either way.
Then again, the more questions I was asked and had to explain, the more I'd stick with the $1200 asking price. Either way, it's a $500 cart to ME. Aren't you glad You're not buying this thing from ME? |

yes I am glad you are not the buyer. But still thanks for the response. New engine, up dated front seat new flip seat, new tires, updated top. I have at least $1200 in the up dates. I am going to ask $1850 I have two people coming to look at it tomorrow. |

Re: Marathon Price???
I wasn't trying to be a killjoy, just realistic ... I had my 88 up for sale for awhile, complete rebuilt motor, 5" lift, new Chen Shin 22X11's, brand new seats, new paint (including engine casings) and cowl, full LED's all around the cart as well as new headlights, all new electrical system (pulsar, HEI, coil, solenoid, regulator, battery), new clutch last year, also included a set of rear flip seats and a cargo box (neither currenly on the cart but in excellent shape) as well as original rims, an extra set of used 22X11's, a spare new coil, regulator, solenoid, manual - I was asking $1500, then went down to $1200, and the best offer I got from someone with actual cash was $800 so I decided to keep it ... Now, of course it's giving me a ton of problems but that's OK, I don't mind something to putter with here and there :)
Could be the market is stronger in your area, I hope so !!! |
