Don't let off the gas or strange hesitation...
I'm having problems with the throttle response on my EZGO. I can generally take off alright, although it takes some time to build up speed. Once I reach max speed, it runs okay. Problem is, if you let off the gas, you can't get it to throttle up quickly. Normally I'll have to come to a complete stop and let it rev up high enough to engage the clutch. This also happens if I put the cart in neutral and just try to rev up the engine.
I was at our local shop yesterday and one of the guys there said it was an easy fix, that I just needed to adjust the valves. I was going to try that when I get to the house later today, but I'd like to hear what you guys think first. Parish |
