Default Anybody in Phoenix that can loan me a clutch pulling tool for a few days?

I need to pull my clutch to get to the seals. I was wondering if anyone local could loan me the tool (I will give you a deposit). Or I can bring my engine and pull it right there.
Thanks,
Scott

You can make your own for less than $10. You didn't say what cart you have but if it is a 80's 2 stroke (and maybe others) you need a hardened 3/4 inch fine thread 2 inch long bolt and 5/8th steel rod 3 inches long. That is all.

Ok well it should still work. If you can't find a friend with a puller I would go to a hardware store and buy the bolt detailed above and see if it winds in. If it does buy the rod, if not you just blew $2. The hardest part is not making the tool but sotpping the engine rotating as you try to extract the clutch.

Good Luck

ski a 3pg (89-92) 244cc engine uses the same 3/4 fine thread bolt. also we just took a piece of 5/8 rebar and with a bit of grinding it worked. note of caution,if your threads are rusty you may need to run a tap to clean them up. just make sure the bolt goes in freely . also if you have an impact it makes it a lot easier. jim
