ringing in rear!!!
first off i want to say thanks to the site and to everyone that has helped in reviving my old two smoker, from body work and paint (bed liner trick on kick panel and fender moldings was a great idea...looks good and taking a beating) to rebuilding the engine. the problem i have now , is i hear a ringing (kinda like a heat shield on a ar exhaust) when the cart levels off in speed, fast, slow ,dont matter . just cant really tell where its coming from. sorry for the long winded post , just had to say thank you....shag

Re: ringing in rear!!!
I had something similar and it transpired that it was the driven clutch. I would suggest that you take off the drive belt and see if the ringing stops. If not then maybe a broken baffle in your muffler.
By the way there is a delicious irony in the fact that you spelled lobotomy incorrectly |
