Hey ruredy?
Jon have you ever seen or know who makes lift blocks for the back, made with 2 square steel plates w/holes for the spring bolts, then have 2 pieces of square steel tubing welded in between for the lift? I need (roughly) a 2" set and 3" set.
BTW bought another nice Clean 01 Workhorse today.. |

Re: Hey ruredy?
I just use 2 3/8" trailer spring perches and if it needs to be higher you can add any size blocks.

Re: Hey ruredy?
Thanks jon, mine are the st-350s and come with the perches welded on top the axle (probably like your 480) I just like the blocks I described because they can't move around.

Re: Hey ruredy?
here is some 2x2x1/8" blocks I made to lower my ezgo. Basically the same thing your talking except on the other side of the axle. I drilled a 1/2" hole on top and bottom, Rounded of a bolt head and bolted it down.

Re: Hey ruredy?
I'm not sure you can buy the blocks that size (2" wide) maybe check with a parts store. but you can make them out of 2" square thick wall tubing, thats what I use. Drill the holes and put a bolt/nut in one of them so it fits in the seat and it's instant lifting blocks. You can get the tubing in 2"x3" if your needing to go that high.

Re: Hey ruredy?
Thanks guys, I have made blocks out of square tubing, but I was talking about 2 plates like the shock plate with 4 holes and the tubing welded in between, I have some on one of my TXTs, guess I can make some.

Re: Hey ruredy?
You really need a camera so you can post pics of things you talk about
You can get the plates for an ezgo txt gas model and use them. I use them on some carts so I can use threaded rod insted of high dollar u-bolts. |
