Angry Ez Go St

All,

I would like everyone to know that what Mike told me was exactly what I needed to hear. I read his email and took it at what it meant as it was to me and not against anyone. I paid a lot of money for the cart and he brought to my attention to talk to my dealer. I didn't take his email as a slam to anyone but I can tell you from experience that not all information or suggestions are good. I can repair a shotgun bette than most people in this world. But I see guns all the time that are two or three months old that I wouldn't give two cents for due to the owner making changes he got from a shotugun forum. I
really do not like the fact that someone stole my thread to attack someone who gave me the perfect answer. This might be my last post and possible my last visit to this website. It is easy to attack someone but much harder to apologoize.... Mike I'm sorry that all of the rude and uncalled for replies/comments to my post were aimed at you. If i would have known that it would have happened I would never have posted a question on this website.

Benelliman,
You are very welcome and thank you for the post. I'm glad your dealership took care of your needs. In the future, please feel free to call my shop directly if there is anything else I can help with @ 972/772-8697. Thank you for choosing EZGO products!

Mike may have not slammed anyone in his email to you but it would sure appear he did in his replies to your post. This isn't the first time Mikes replies to different threads made him seem less than admirable to other members. I receive countless pm's regarding this matter. If you feel a need to leave and not come back do to all the injustices Mike has suffered cause of your post then i'll say bye and thanks for your visit. I will say again that I take great pride in what BGW has accomplished with this forum and feel we have done the up-most to convey correct and meaningful information.

Look, here is the whole deal:

Every piece of literature available with the car, including placards, specifically state that tampering with the governor may cause personal injury or death and that doing so will void the warranty. The dealer will assume all liability and the owner will have no recourse with E-Z-GO assuming something comes up.

Dealers that say they can or will perform an illegal act (yes, it is and I don't wanna hear it), are no different from a crack dealer. Yes, dealers do it and yes crack dealers exist.... where in that analogy is either right for doing it?

This is not directed at any one person or company.

Benelliman, if your car is brand new then you should call E-Z-GO and ask them your question..... OR was it that your owner's Manuel had warning labels over the performance section? The answer you received was the answer you wanted to hear, not the real answer to your question. So please do not mislead other people who may be looking into a similar problem, by saying the answer was correct.

Wow Bob,
Take that pretty serious dont you?? Crack may be a little more damaging to the public than adjusting the governor on a golf cart

Most mini bikes ridden by 7 year olds go faster than a stock ezgo.

Sure I take it seriously, you don't steal cars because you don't get caught do ya? ... both are analogies

I really doubt that a 7 year old will face a $10,000 fine and up to 1 year in jail for going faster than an E-Z-GO

Stove, posts like the one above let me know that.... its been said and not understood.

Two that I have heard of, and a a ton of fines handed out.... for last year.

It is a federal law and not an imposed "rule".

Bob

P.S. The two in jail, I don't know how long they were there.... but their actions caused harm to customers
