Marathon exhaust smells
Hey Guys. My 2 stroke Marathon has that annoying smell that is typical for a 2 strk. I hear my passengers complaining and it make my clothes smell. Is my oiler running too rich? I don't see a way to adjust it.
Thanks, Casper ps: pics 'r coming |

Re: Marathon exhaust smells
Ahy blue smoke?? Most guys here get rid of thier oiler and premix. 128:1 That's 1oz. oil for each gallon of gas. Your muffler may be half full of goo (sludge from unburned oil) also. When the muffler gets hot it could smoke. I purchased an 88 an somebody had already removed the oiler.

Re: Marathon exhaust smells
I don't think it's blue smoke. I thought about that (pre-mix). It's just something to educate my family on. I will try the BBQ on the campfire.
