Cart ID help
I need help ID ing my cart.
Ready to go with a shorter belt and need to know if it's a 92-94 or 94&up. With only the engine,CVT, rear end, steering gear, & front suspension to go by, how do I tell what I have? Engine is 295. I'm not even sure the front end matches the rear. |

Re: Cart ID help
To be clear, the parts listed in the OP are the only remaining EZ-GO parts.
That's it, no tunnel, no ID plate, S/N, frame, etc. I will add a few more parts to the list that might help ID ...... Shifter, pedals & some linkage, voltage regulator, engine & trans cradle/swingam Assy. Can I get an ID for year range using these parts? |

Pictures? We might be able to narrow stuff down that way.

Re: Cart ID help
Pictures of which parts?
I was hoping someone could narrow it down like "2 cable shifter used year-year; or steering rack mounted low until year, muffler style "x" used until year, coil springs used until year". At the moment I'm just trying to narrow it down to figure which CVT short belt to order. |

Re: Cart ID help
Problem is, from the information I can get a hold of, you don't have the requisite parts for a determination between the year range you've listed. You might check out engine parts and see if there are differences in those years to try to narrow it down. Thats how I found the engine I got on eBay wasn't the 72 the guy said it was...it was a 73.

Re: Cart ID help
If all you want is a shorter belt then I suggest that you wrap a piece of string around your belt and measure the length. Now subtract 1 inch and that is the length you need. If you go to NAPA online and search for belts they are listed by length and you can scroll through until you find one. Alternatively just shout here that you are looking for a belt of xx inches and someone will know what you need.

Re: Cart ID help
What changed in '94 to use a different length belt?
Can I ID using this difference? Where would I find the engine #'s that would indicate year? |
