Wear in Head Where Cam Runs

I put a engine back together today,(295) an i hear a slight rattle type noise in engine. Head had some wear in both end on cam bores, nothing major but did have some wear.. my question has anyone heard this problem to cause a noise to come from engine. It is not in the bottom end. I did reface the rockers due to a lot of wear in them, might should have replaced them.I didnt see why I could not reface them, I did replace the cam also it had some wear on it with a good used one.
