Question Changing diff fluid

I did a search and got about 15 different opinions on rear diff oil. I came to conclusion that SAE 30 is what I need, but how much? I know to fill until it comes out of fill plug hole, but how much is that? Also, where is the drain plug on this thing. I see a lot of bolts and am wondering if their is a plug?

The rear axle holds 40 ounces of 30wt. engine oil.. There is a drain plug and a "level" plug in the housing (both have 13mm hex heads).. The service manual has the drain & refill procedure, click on the link below and scroll to page 163..

Thanks for the manual. that is a huge help. You said page 163? It is divided into sections. Do you know what section it is in? They are listed in alphabetical and page #'s such as D-9, F-12, etc. Thanks for the help.

The drain & refill procedure is in section "P", page 1...

At the top header of the PDF file is a page number box, just type in the page number and hit "enter", you'll go straight to that page...
