Default Big Motor E-Z-GO

Hello, I am considering buying an old TXT or Medalist, adding on the sport body, and most of all, installing a Subaru/Robins EH72 fuel injection 28hp engine. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of an EZGO engine compartment and give me some advice how to get the transmission to handle the extra power? I also want to lower or not change the ride height, so lifting to make the compartment bigger is out of the question.

Hello, I have an Eh72 in my Ezgo Workhorse but it is aspirated not injected, 25hp. It is a very nice engine. Kinda tall for what you have in mind.

Thank-you for the advice. Subaru makes a low profile version of the engine, without the air filter. Also, if you go to youtube and search golf cart burnout, somone has a 1200cc club car. They fit the engine by raising the seat height. I could do that. I now know I can fit It, but can you tell me how hard it was to mount and how to get the transmission to work with it? Thank-you, and I'll post some pictures when I'm done
