I recently purchased a 99 EZ go 4 cycle. Evertime I put it in Reverse it backfires. I need some help

If it's when you let off the gas it's usually the throttle plate not closing all the way.

No when the engine starts. It does not do it when it is in neutral.

Thats weird, only in reverse
A few reasons for them to backfire valves need adjusting throttle plate in carb not closing before ignition shuts off (this can be from bad cables to adjustments of them and or the linkage going to the carb) dirt in carb (needing cleaning) |
