Default New to the carting world

I just joined your forum and am amazed at all of the active and helpful members your forum seems to have. Hopefully after i get through this first EZGO project, I can share my experiences and new found wisdom with others. In the mean time,I just purchased a 92 EZGO Fleet? 2 stroke to use around my property. It came complete with a blown motor, but also a rebuild kit. I've been trying to find an engine service/rebuild manual, but it seems they're all backordered or being sold by gougers. Anyone have any direction for me?

You can post the serial# and model and someone will run the number for you. Also, check out this link for manuals. You will need a PDF veiwer to read them.

Thanks for the quick reply Roady. I checked those links earlier, and they were all for later models I believe. I was pretty excited for a minute there, though. Model is F1992, s/n is 692665. Steve.

Your cart was built December 19, 1992. I think the engine is a 3PG...Ruredy is the e-z-go gasser guy around these parts. He will know for sure.

It would be a 3pg engine, I have never seen a manual for those on the web, only what people take pics of thier hard copys and post them. EMPart web has some parts listing on those if that will do you any good. look for model GX444 89-91, those have the 3pg engine I don't think the 92 model is listed in there because it would have gone to special order status by that time. It has some pretty good parts break downs in there but it doesn't tell how to. Some of the members that have those carts may be able to help.

I asked about the year the 3PG went to the other side of the page... It was 93 for special order. In 92 they went to full production of your choice Phase 1 4 cycle or a 3PG. 92 was sort of a transition year over to the 4 cycle.... I know, useless info but I'm full of it

These specs work for both engines (This is actually an original assembly checklist they used in Augusta ):

A Wiring Diagram I have:

Once again, thanks for all of the info Guys. Maybe the manual I saw on buggiesunlimited website that was backordered wouldn't have helped me anyway. Hopefully, I can get the two projects ahead of the cart out of my garage and get the cart in next week some time. I'm sure I'll be looking for more advice then. Steve.

Oh wait.... excuse me for jumping ahead.... Do you have one or two spark plugs Steve?

In 92, both the 2 cycle and 4 cycle engines were available.... I would feel like a complete moron if I gave you all that info above and you tried to use it on a 4 cycle (2 spark plugs).

Sorry about that, I just need to double check

It's definately a 2 stroke, hence the "smoker" moniker in my username. Steve.

Ok Mr. Steve

In my defense, I have seen 4 cycles that would challenge your moniker

As long as we all have fun, huh
