Default Rear Shocks W/heavy Duty Leaf Springs

I aquired a cart that has the heavy duty leafs in the rear, but he did not put new longer rear shocks on it. I need a part number or recomendation of wich ones to put in the rear. Thanks

As long as factory 3 leaf springs were used, then you don't need HD shocks. Plus, there aren't any from E-Z-GO .... thats because they aren't needed. The HD shocks they do have are for the CC and PC carriers

The shocks don't act like automotive shocks. These are more dampeners than anything else.

Where did you get that?

You do not need HEAVY DUTY shocks with Heavy Duty Springs.

Stock shocks are more than adequate

The stock shocks are not long enough. The stock shocks are hanging about 3-4 inches short

I have used shock extenders or for the guys that didnt want those on
there carts I cut 2inch .095 square tubing off about 2inches long and
drill a couple of holes oposite each other and now it looks like a frame extender!!! Happy motoring!!!

Heavy duty springs don't leave your shocks 3" to 4" shy of there mounting point. Who knows what you have mounted to your cart for springs but you can get shock extenders from napa

I've been driving my 97 workhorse I just bought around for a week without any shocks. I wondered why the front end was so loose!. Also the rear leaf springs have a 5" bolt welded into them. Gotta love the homemade fixes people do. (BTW, Rebuilding Efforts underway).
