I aquired a cart that has the heavy duty leafs in the rear, but he did not put new longer rear shocks on it. I need a part number or recomendation of wich ones to put in the rear. Thanks

So in other words i dont need rear shocks at all with the heavy duty leafs? Sounds good to me.

The stock shocks are not long enough. The stock shocks are hanging about 3-4 inches short

I have used shock extenders or for the guys that didnt want those on
there carts I cut 2inch .095 square tubing off about 2inches long and drill a couple of holes oposite each other and now it looks like a frame extender!!! Happy motoring!!! |

Heavy duty springs don't leave your shocks 3" to 4" shy of there mounting point. Who knows what you have mounted to your cart for springs but you can get shock extenders from napa

I've been driving my 97 workhorse I just bought around for a week without any shocks. I wondered why the front end was so loose!. Also the rear leaf springs have a 5" bolt welded into them. Gotta love the homemade fixes people do. (BTW, Rebuilding Efforts underway).
