2005 ez go gas-air filter question
I have a regular golf cart that is not lifted. We ride it every where in sand, clay dirt paths, streets a little mud. I am having trouble keeping the airfilter clean since it is very dusty where we ride. I was thinking about making a snorkle kit for it and mounting it up fornt on the side of the windshield. Any comments or suggestions?:

Re: 2005 ez go gas-air filter question
EZGO makes an adapter that bolts to the carb so can use a KN filter
or a foam filter these do a better job of keeping dirt out find a EZGO dealer and give them a call!!! |

I dont think the dirt is getting through the filter I think its getting
around it the way it clamps doesnt seem to seal well. |

Re: 2005 ez go gas-air filter question
Some guys run the intake through the firewall to pick up cleaner air, Workhorses came that way from the factory, check the pic in my signature (click to enlarge) see the louvers?

Re: 2005 ez go gas-air filter question
the golf coarse i got my cart from had adapted mine to go through the firewall. still can't figure out what the heck the air inlet is, or what it came from. i need to get a longer hose to go from the inlet to the airbox, now that i lifted it. works pretty slick. it likes clean air!

K&N that's the way to go. Off road racers have used them for years.
