I don't know of any E-manuals for the older carts, EMpartWeb had some parts manuals listed for older carts but just did remove all the ezgo stuff. I guess the only option now is to buy one from a vendor. Ezgo seems to be pretty quick about discontinuing support on the older carts.

I can not find how to hook up that gov. cable.
I'm running it with out it now. How bad is that for it?
also I bought a batt. for it with 375 cold cranking amp.
I think it needs more, not going into rev. that good

thanks

1988, assuming that you have the 2-stroke 244CC Robin/Fuji Heavy Industries engine. It is bad to run these without the GOV at high RPM's for a long time. The 2-strokes do not have rev-limiters and will basically rattle themselves apart. I don't have a GOV on my 2-stroke so I can't help much with the re-connection of it. I have a small piece of wire on my carb butterfly that keeps it from opening WOT (my own makeshift GOV!) and have had no issues. Just an idea. Someone else here should have pics of how the stock GOV is hooked up.

As for your battery, that should be enough. It is just there to start it. Once it is started, it is all engine power. Is it starting well and not revving up once started?
