Default Help removing driven clutch

Hi Guys

I have a 1981 Ezgo that I want to remove and replace the driven clutch.
My cart is 100 miles away at the lake and I would like to know what tools to take with me to get the job done.
Your advice would appreciated.

Thanks

Chuck

As I recall, unlike the drive clutch, the driven clutch is just held on with 6 bolts so a standard socket set would do it. If the governor is still fitted you will need to remove that but again the pin is simply held in with a bolt. I think you would need

A socket set
An adjustable wrench
A mallet (just in case it needs a little tap to break the seal)
A large screwdriver (in case you need to lift the belt over the pulley)

Thanks Dave

So I will not need a puller of some kind?

No sir, I expended about 20,000 calories and hours removing the drive clutch but the driven clutch is bolted on as opposed to a press fit. You will be surprised just how nicely it falls off.

Thanks Dave

I hope it is the clutch that is making the noise.
If not I will have a new driven clutch I am sure it is the original.
