EZ-GO Switch/Key Options

I just bought my first cart, 2010 EZ-GO ST Custom 2+2. I noticed on the site that a lot of carts don't have the ignition key anymore. What options do I have to replace the key with a more secure one, I don't think the EZ-GO custom key is a good option. I am also considering a battery isolator switch.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks for all the great topics.

I just got the alarm for around 60$ from Everything Carts http://www.everythingcarts.com/p-173...ty-system.aspxand it secures things very nicely with the pin switch on the seat. Unless someone small got under her and snipped the alarm power wires without bumping it and connects the ignition wires, It wont start. But if you lose the remote you are screwed :). it's nice though as I have a lot of friends with bratty kids who like to tear things up. Now if they hop on hoping to go joyriding they get an earful from it and their parents :).

a couple of guys in the low rider section have used a harley key switch. it uses a round type key.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt get a reply for a while so I started researching it. I ended up buying a Harley FXR 2 position round key switch last week. Now I have to figure out how to get the key panel out. i have rebuilt jeeps for years and this golf cart is a new game for me.
