Default Marathon Hard starting once motor gets warm?

Okay I know i have a million threads on here about my cart as its been nothing but a huge pain in my ***. Im just wondering what would be causing my cart to bog down when starting after the carts engine gets up to temperature. I have been adjusting the valves and it doesnt seem to get any better. I dunno if the valve adjustment is really hard to get perfect or what? But im puzzled because my cart starts up and takes off great when the engine is cold. Any help would be great and sorry for being annoying on here!!!

My cart also has a little bit of oil in the air filter box and the cart seems to be running really rich. Plugs are really black when I pulled them.

Try adjusting the float.

First look if the float & needle are free to move!
Also if the needle is 100% closing when the floatchamber is full, so no gas passing the needle if closed.

Look if everything is in its place, the ? ..... ? isn't fallen out its place.

try taking the carb off and tearing it down and cleaning it real well ....every hole in every jet get a peice of wire to use to go thur holes and use a compressor to blow every port, opening, hole you can find and than try and see if it makes a difference.....if not than get the exhaust at the engine off so you have about an inch between them and see if that makes a difference....................also how is compression? and try starting it in reverse see if it starts easier........................................

Ok, I will try cleaning the carb, it is the same way in reverse. Kinda hesitates before it takes off in reverse rtoo. Could compression be the problem even if it starts good when the engine is cold? I figured doing a compression check would be the same no matter what? I will check it tho. How many pounds of compression should I be getting? If unbolting the exhaust does it what would the problem be?

you want at least 125 and yes there could be a difference between hot and cold.......if exhaust works it means exhaust is starting to plug up and will quit running altogather but chances are its something else so save that if nothing else works...........................

Anyone out there have a diagram or pictures to show how to do this? I have never really messed around with adjusting a carb other than just cleaning them. THanks

that exhaust test is an important one, especially on the 2-strokes (although you mentioned valves, so I'm assuming yours is a 4) - the 2's like to pass a lot of unburned goop (oil, etc) and can and will plug up quickly if run with lower compression / wrong ratio / etc (although over time, the 4's have been known to plug up too.

As to the temp causing running changes, that's why I'm leaning towards exhaust - the heat causes the oily residue and sludge to become "goopier" (a technical term, hahaha) and expand, making the exhaust more restricted and killing or severely hampering the engine - cool it down and the problem gets (somewhat) better

What do you recommend I do? Is there anything I can do that would clean this. Would running seafoam or anything in the gas help?
