Default HELP! URGENT! Bottomed out, cart vibrates when I turn right

Hello,

I need to fix this problem ASAP! I sold my golf cart today, and was taking it for one last cruise when I bottomed out going over a curb.

The rear end rubbed the curb, and although it looks ok when I look underneath, something is wrong. When I turn right the golf cart vibrates and I can hear something rubbing or shaking.

In neutral I can turn right and it's absolutely fine, no rubbing or vibrations.

Any suggestions????

Thank you guys so much

That, my good man, is a question for someone who can actually look under it or has a crystal ball.
Drive the cart, turn right until it viberates or rubs, stop right there and look for thing rubbing or touching something.

Maybe exhaust pipe?

I tried that already, nothing appears to be rubbing.... this is going to sound dumb but could the rear not be straight? what if I loosen the U bolts and drive it, will that do anything?

Yes, you might drive right off of the axle!
Why don't you crawl under it with a tape measure and start checking right side and left side measurements.
front to back, side to side and cross or "X" measurements.
Any chance you snagged a brake cable and are dragging the brake in the turn?

I just noticed the rear is farther to the right on the axle than the left, by about an inch... is this normal?

this is asking alot......get the rear off the ground and run the cart and watch the back end see if you bent the wheel the axle or whatever..........really need someone there to look at it............................

possibly brake damaged, might have knocked off a spring that is allowing the pads to rub?

I think I mentioned it, but if the cart is rolling in neutral there is no vibration, so doesn't that rule ouut bent axle/breaks? I think the rear end shifted over about an inch, is that plausible? Can I loosen the u bolts and center it? Its about an inch farther to the right than it would be if it was centered...

Unless you sheared both centering pins in the springs you should not have an issue there but since we can't see it do what you feel will help.
Any chance you can post some picture of the rear suspension area of the cart?
