Welding on a 350?
Hello,
Is it possible to weld a crack in the enginehousing of a 350 EH? The crack is right under the two cylinders, at the back and go's from the fanside topbolt to almost the distributionside. What material is the engine made of? Aluminium and ??? Thanks Benno |

Re: Welding on a 350?
Probably cast aluminum and yes it can be welded with a tig not stick. CLEAN is important on aluminum and a good welding shop won't have a problem welding it but I may add it isn't cheap. Hopes this helps
