Going to look at a 93 ezgo
I have never owned a cart before and I am in the market for one. I am going to look at a 93 2 stroke on Sunday. Anything to look out for? It has a new lift, but still has stock tires. The price is 800. Thanks for helping out a noob.

Re: Going to look at a 93 ezgo
800 seems a little steep to me, especially for a 2-stroke cart. Parts are starting to be phased out for these engines, but they do run forever! If you ever wanted to do an engine swap, you would lose reverse if using a 4-stroke engine.
I do have to say the older style bodies are built much better and more durable than the newer ones. I personally like the 2-stroke engine since it is easy to work on but I just can't justify that price. I would say check it out and see what condition the cart is in (rust, paint, frame, seat covers, engine compression, health of clutches, signs of abuse etc.). Just my $.02! Mitch |
