hello to all
new here, i have an 84 ezgo 2 cycle , i put a new coil on now it backfires like crazy. need help any suggestions appreciated.

First things first, WELCOME!!
Can you give any more info? Does it run at all? If so, when does it backfire? Have you checked air gap on coil, could it go on backwards? The guys here will get you through it! |

Hello and welcome to the forum! Make sure the butterfly on top of the carb is closing all the way when the throttle is in the OFF position. The adjustment is very simple. That should solve your backfire issue!

good morning. it does run occasionally, mostly just turns over. i did get it to run for about 2 minutes last night then it backfired and hasn't run since.thank for the replys.
