Steering column wobble
I am not sure this video is good enough to show the problem, but I assume the steering column is not supposed to wobble this much.
Any ideas on where to look first and how to fix this wobble? Link to video - https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink |

Re: Steering column wobble
Look at the area where the tube goes into the lower flange, is it loose?
check the bolts holding the flange to the rack assy, are they loose? Check under the cart where the rack assy bolts to the cart frame, is it loose? Check the frame around the rack area for cracks, find any? That's basically it............ |

Re: Steering column wobble
When I first got my ride the bolts were tight, but the casting at the bottom of the column was broken.
Stupid easy to replace, about 50 bucks for the tube and new top bushing. |
