Experience with torque kit or limited slip kit?
I just bought a 2006 EZGO gas cart to use in the mountains (hilly, but not crazy hilly). I think drive train is stock, has 5" lift and 23" tires. Runs about 20-21 on flat ground.
I'm considering adding a torque kit ($299 Buggies Unl.) and was wondering if anybody has experience with it. How much will it help in hill climbing? Assume I lose top end speed - how much? I've also seen a kit that's just a spring. Any idea what that does? And the second thing - looking for better traction and was curious about the limited slip kit. Again, anybody have experience or recommendations? How hard would the install be? Any help is greatly appreciated! Joe |
