Unhappy Squealing when starting

I have a 1997 Club Car Gas model DS and it has lost some power over the past few months and now when starting out there is a loud squealing comming from the drive belt. The cart also pulsates when driving like it's not getting enough fuel or maybe an electrical drop in current to the plug?? Where would be the best place to start looking for a problem. My thoughts were to replace the belts, plug and fuel filters but thought I would ask before I started. Thanks.

Thanks and I believe your correct. I did order a belt, plug, fuel filters and oil filter figuring I would freshen it up. Never changed the belt before on a golf cart but very much mechanically inclined. Anything I should be aware of? Thanks for the reply and help!!!!!!!

Yet again, the CC guys need help from the EZGo guys.

However, it does sound like you're on the right track with the parts you've already ordered. Giving the carb a good clean also likely wouldn't hurt.
