fuel pump?
1981 gasser ez-go
I now must have the choke out a bit just to drive her around. She runs good when I do this but it should not be that way. I've adjusted the carb linkage so the spring is right. I don't think the muffler is holding her back, and I don't think it's on the inlet side. Do the fuel pumps get weak after a while? That is what it seems like to me, the choke is "helping" the fuel pump catch up. Am I on the right path? |

Re: fuel pump?
The choke is forcing the carb to draw more fuel.
Remove the carb and clean all of the jets and it should act right. |

Re: fuel pump?
That's been done not that long ago, but can get dirty quickly I suppose. Will try again soon.
Any other reason? They changed in 82. |

Re: fuel pump?
If you didn't clean your fuel tank then you will continue to clean the carb...
