new carb on the 89
My 89 has been slow to start ,running rough , and the carb has been rebuilt to death ( about 3 times a year forever ) so I got a new one , now it don;t try to run at all and gas comes out of the front ( breather end ) , I checked all the fittings and when it;s in hand blowing in the feul line with a rubber hose and rotating the carb the needle valve seems to be working , can stuck reed valves cause somthing like this /

New $90+ carb was a total bust the old one worked better than the new one ,, so I took all the parts out of the new one and put in the old body and it works great ,,problem solved ,, now to work on the 2pg engine swap ,, should be easier than fuel problems .
