4 cycle rear end help

I want to put a a 16hp vanny on my 89 but i want to keep reverse. my problem is, i was told i need a rear end from a 4 cycle that has a shift like cable for it. the one i have was joined with 2 cycle robin in it. does anyone have a pic of what i need for this? or maybe where i can get a used one that i can rebuild? Also is there a different set of gears i can use to speed it up a little?

Ok so i was searching the web for pics of the engine carrier and couldnt find any that looked like mine. well come to find out its not an 89 its a 93. go figure... someone please slap me!!

. so can someone please tell me if the 93 marathon has reverse or not?

Count your spark plugs. 1 spark plug is a 2 strike engine, no reverse. 2 spark plugs is a 4 stroke with reverse.

Alright so it has one plug. No reverse. That bites.

So what makes of carts have the reverse that i could use? Or fab up to make work?
