Default jacobson 1110

Hello just got a jacobson 1110 hauler with a model # d1697 am I correct in thinking it is a 1997 and what sparkplugs do I need for it. The previous owner said he thinks a valve may be stuck as it gets spark but compression jumps around without holding. He lost the plugs out of it and I want to get new ones. Thanks Larry

as far as i know, jakes have a data plate that gives you the date separately from the serial number. The specs for the cart will be the same as an EZGO workhorse. "same machine, just different badges" I will take a look at a couple of ours in the morning if i get chance.

It would be a 97 by those numbers. Ezgo says, NGK BPR4ES are the plugs to use.

Colin, good to hear from ya, its been awhile.

I will show up now and then! Just very busy.

It might be worth trying BPR5ES plugs depending on your elevation. run the cart for a while, i think maybe some stale fuel might still be in the system and a good hard run is needed to freshen things up a bit. it might even be sticky rings if it has stood for a while.

Thanks for the help guys I adjusted the valves and it is running better all the time but still need to choke it a little but it does seem to be running better the more I use it. I put some sea-foam in the gas and it hopefully will help it has alot more power than when I started.

The sea foam will certainly help over a period of time!
