motor swap
I want to swap my 9HP out for 16HP want to get as much info a I can on doing it myself my cart is a 99

You can do this yourself if you are mechanical and have more than just basic tools and more than just average patience. This is not a beginner level project. You should not be pressed for time and you should have about 2Xs the cost of the motor in funding.
Some of the build steps will include: Building your own motor mount plate. Adapting or replacing the motor drive clutch. Engineering the throttle connection to the peddle, & a fuel, air, and exhaust system. Installing electrical wiring and ignition system. If that sounds like fun! Lets get started |
