295cc carb help
Hi: I have a 2007 TXT Freedom with a 295cc engine. It started leaking oil from the crank case gasket on the fan end at the top. I tightened the two top bolts (they were a little loose) and the leak stopped. However when I checked the hose from the PCV valve port to the carburetor (thought there might be increased pressure in crank case if plugged) I found a little plastic plug in the port on the carb that the PCV hose connects to . I have no idea why this is plugged and don't know if it should be. I would really like to know if the plug should be there. Seems to me to defeat the purpose to vent the crank case through the carb.
Thanks for any help: Frank |
