Default checking in

hi wanted to let dave and rest know that i traded the 88 gaser for a 08 electric and jonnieb has been great about getting me info on the electric cart. have went all the places i took the gas cart and the electric did great. one thing is hard getting use to is how quiet the electric cart runs. kind a mess the engine noise. however my wife is delighted with it and that makes all the difference cause if the wife is happy everyone is happy. will miss exchanging ideas with all of you sure learned a lot. will check in from time to time to let you know how things are going. have fun with your carts .

I know what you mean about the quietness of electric power being odd at first. My brother's new company truck is a hybrid Chevy. He says it took a while to get accustomed to not to hearing any engine noise when it's running on the battery. It's really good for sneaking up on somebody though. He did that to me when I was working on my car out in the driveway. Rolled up behind me quiet as a mouse and tested his horn. It's weird to think a full size pickup can be that stealthy.

Congrats on the new cart! What's with the " missing exchanges "? You'll have plenty, they just won't smell like gas anymore!
