oil ratio on an 1988
my 1988 has the oiling system disconnected by a previous owner. my first tank of gas i mixed 16/1. i think this is to much oil because it runs kinda rough and fouls the plug. what is the correct ratio to run. it is the 244cc robbins. thanks in advance. mike

Yep, that's way too much oil. The consensus around here is 128:1, or 1 ounce of oil per gallon of gas.

RIGHT ON 128:1 I can't think of anything that runs 16:1 LOL that would be an expense gas fill up each time.
