It might not be able to get rid of it quickly because it could be clogged. Also how big of a bend is on it? If it is at a too sharp angle the majority of it might just be getting slowed down and cant get out of the pipe quick enough.

I honestly dont know much about exhaust but these are the first reasons i could think of. Maybe if you post pictures we could get a better understanding of the situation.

Time to BBQ the muffler it's plugged with oil residue. The straight pipe thing doesn't work well on a 2 cycle unless you have time to tune it you need the back pressure with a 2 cycle. So build a fire put you muffler in it and let it cook you should see flames coming out both ends. Are you mixing gas or have the pump still connected? Hope this helps let us know were here to help WELCOME to BGW

Mine did the same thing once I installed my fabricated intake pipe to stock air cleaner :-( I think I may have bad crankshaft seals or a broken piston skirt at the exhaust port.....

I'm with racen on this one. Sounds like stock muffler is clogged. Look at the stickeys or at tech guy threads for more info on cooking muffler.

Ya I thought the that it was plugged so I cut it I half took everything out of it and welded it back together and it still wouldnt run good. And how come it runs good with just that one pipe that comes off the motor and hooks to the stock muffler that's only a straight pipe? But if I and a extra 2 ft of straight pipe it runs bad?
