How do I find parts for GXI804D EZGO TUFF1
Glorious and honorable Cart Gods! Please bestow a pittance of knowledge upon an unworthy worm such as myself.
I need help finding parts to fix my cart. Model:GXI804D S/N: a-34197 Manufacturer code: F2795 I have seen it written on here to use the last 2 digits on the S/N as a year of manufacture. I have also used the link to go to EZGO's site. EZgo says it is a 95 utility vehicle. Do I use Marathon or medalist as the base model? Every site I see has 94.5 as the latest year. Ign. Key goes in by the directional lever, by my calf. the seat back is solid and doesn't for the front wall of the truck bed. there are no handles on my roof. Also, When the accel pedal is depressed, nothing happens. good battery. the switch with the roller on it that the accel pedal is connected to is good. I'm thinking solenoid. I've checked fuses, and cleaned every connector I have found. While I am at it...what parts manual/repair manual is used for this model? Thanks for the help! |

I "think" thats GXT804, I could be wrong but I have never seen a GXI. Something else I read was XT500
On mine for a manual I used the TXT gasser manuals, both service and parts manuals. Supposed to be marathon based but they have a 4 stroke like the medalist and TXT's |

Use a Medalist-TXT gasser solenoid if yours is in fact bad. I have one of these, I call it a morphadite. Its got marathon, medalist and txt parts.
Check to see that the solenoid is in fact getting power to the small terminals while trying to start. Also, that solenoid is rated 100% duty cycle, meaning you cant throw any old solenoid on there cause it wont last. |

The starter/generator doesn't turn over at all. There is power to the smaller terminals from what I can remember, though I have to go recheck to be sure.
