Solenoid question
After reading some posts I was trying to test solenoid with no success. So I jumped and cart then turned over so I went to an auto store and got a 12 volt solenoid cleaned up all the ground wires I could find and replaced solenoid, but when i hit the gas nothing. from what I can tell all micro switches are good. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Solenoid question
mostly just an FYI ...
A golf cart solenoid is activated all the time the engine is running. An automotive solenoid is activated when the starter is running. You can use a GC solenoid in a car but you can't use a car solenoid in a cart for very long. It will work for a while but it will get used up pretty fast. |

Re: Solenoid question
I'd look through here for the wiring diagram. Then make sure everything is wired up right and clean your connections.

Re: Solenoid question
Thanks seen post about a Continuous solenoid. That is not what I purchased going back this morning to get the correct one. Let's hope this works been about 7 days tinkering with the cart.
