Default I removed oil pump on 89 ezgo

I am a long time reader but first time poster, I recently purchased a 1989 ezgo marathon with 3pg engine. I decided to remove the oil pump after reading that advice on this forum. I mixed 128:1 but have a fuel filter in the line up at the tank, I also noticed it has a small inline filter close to carb, my question is will fuel filters strain the 2 stroke oil out of the gas any?, it appears the oil pump injected the oil AFTER the filters through a banjo bolt. I replaced the banjo with a 1/2 m6 bolt.

Thanks and great source of info here!

I have an 89 also and did the same thing you did last night. I only noticed one filter in my fuel system which is the one by the tank. I wouldn't think it would be a problem but maybe using a different type of filter my be better in this case since I believe the filter by the tank is a paper element type of filter.

I am no expert by an means and would like to hear what others suggest.
