Re: ez-go 2 stroke
Welcome to the forum !!! Sounds like a fuel delivery issue at first glance so let's try a couple of relatively simple things first:
1: Pull the fuel line from the carb and turn the engine over, you should have a healthy pulse of fuel spurting from the line. If so, we just eliminated the fuel delivery up to the pump, which leaves us the next step ... 2: remove the throttle, choke and governor cables as well as unhooking the fuel line and air intake. There are 2 10mm nuts that hold the carb onto the intake, remove them (being careful not to damage the gasket). Now that you have the carb in your hands, follow this illustration to disassemble it and make SURE to pay special attention to the jets I have circled - they need to be removed and thoroughly cleaned using a can of pressurized carb cleaner. Alos, while you're in there, make sure to thoroughly clean out the needle valve seat (also circled) and gey any gunk, etc out of the float bowl. Now, do the whole thing backwards until you have the carb reinstalled as it was, try it again and hopefully you'll be off and running !!! |

Re: ez-go 2 stroke
first, define "sluggish" - is it starting up the hill good then slowly bogging down and not changing RPM's to "power up" ??? There are so many things that could lead to loss of power under load that you're going to have to be a little more descriptive so we can try and help you without a lot of unneccessary troubleshooting ...
