Cart wont run
I have 1994 EZGO Medalist, All stock. Has headlights and turnsignals. It has run with no problems until last week. Now there is nothing. I have charged and verified good battery. I cannot get anything to work, lights, starter, nothing. Two issues:
The PO removed the black in line fuse Bypassed it with wire, what amp Do I need to get to replace it? Where do I even begin troubleshooting. I have read many threads on grounding issues ect. I hoping someone has a step by step trouble shooting guide to start eliminating possible problems. I have looked at the diagrams but am not good at the process of running wires with a diagram. Thanks in advance, Powerless (Dennis) |

Re: Cart wont run
If you can't get ANYTHING to work, I'd think you may have a bad battery connection. Can you tell how it died?Did it cut out on you, or did you come out to start it one day and nothing?

I would also check all the grounds. Make sure they are all tight and that there's no paint or rust under them. Take both ends off and wire brush the the spots where they go. That has been the demon on my cart but I think im good to go there.

Re: Cart wont run
It ran one day not the next. I will pull all connections off and clean with a wire brush. The battery tested good. Not sure about the ground to the frame. Thanks, I'll post after trust is complete. How do I test the relay?

Re: Cart wont run
Awesome, first one to solve it wins! Any chance you can post the fuse size? The inline fuse holder was broke and the previous owner bypassed it.
