Default No spark after lift kit, 2-stroke marathon

Installed 5" block lift on front, ran fine. Did same on rear, had to replace fuel line with new one about 4" longer. Now it has no spark. Any ideas on what happened would be appreciated. Thanks.

if you have the stock coil, it's common for the plug wire to get stretched/pulled a bit with the lifts and it can become unseated at the coil (it sorta threads onto a post on the coil - a hokey setup but actually works OK if not put under stress, pulled, etc) ... try threading the plug wire onto the coil (clockwise) and see if that helps.

OTHERWISE, check your pulsar wires (red and blue, coming out of engine) - there's a plug halfway between the motor and the firewall that can also come loose when the lifts are installed, and also make sure the ground strap from the motor to the frame is tight and clean - if none of these work we can go from there

Thumbs up Re: No spark after lift kit, 2-stroke marathon

There's a green wire and an orange wire coming from the coil and then cable-tied to the upper frame under the seat. It was really hard to see, but the green wire was broken at the connection (definitely from the lift kit install). Removed the coil, was able to solder wire back on, started right up and runs better than ever. Thanks again for your help.
