Engine Swap

I have a 98 Medalist 295. It has a tapered shaft on the engine. What would be a good engine swap? What do I do about the tapered Shaft?????? Thanks!

You can use almost anything for a swap.Honda,Briggs and "Clones"(Harbor-Freight,etc..)are the most common.You can buy a Clutch-Adapter from Cart Parts Plus for under $50 that will let you install the stock clutch on a 1" straight crankshaft.Look thru the Big-Block section for ideas.Hope this helps.
