91 marathon starts but wont run
My 91 marathon will start when I press the gas but then dies. Ican let it sit for a few seconds and it will start again. ALso the longer I let it sit the longer it will run but it will only ru for about 30 seconds at most. ANY HELP WOULD BE APRECIATED.

Spark is blue. Seems to be running out of gas, but I dont know much about two stroke engines. not sure what to check or how.

I had this problem and the float valve in the carb was sticking close. I took off the bowl and sprayed carb cleaner and it's been work ing for the past two years.

check the float and needle in the carb also check if u have any holes in the lines or fuel filter to check this take the hose of the pump that has the fuel filter on it .. it goes to the tank . blow into it and fastly reconnect if there is leaks they will show also check to make sure the lines are not clogged and are tight lastly take off the hose from the fuel pump that goes to the carb , leave the line from the tank on and press the peddle to see if its pumping gas if not u need a new pump or u can buy a fuel pump kit

I took the carb apart and cleaned it. The bowl had dirt in it. Runs great now. Thanks to everyone for the help.
