Default EzGo Battery Need Charging? Or engine charges it?

Hey guys, ive had a (what looks to be a late 05's?) golf cart.

ive wired up 4 spot lights to it, and welded some spot holders etc, im wondering thou will this drain my battery? or does the engine have a dynamo or something to charge it? or when the starter motor on the belt starts the engine after the engine is running does that spin the motor to charge the battery?

main question. Does the battery charge while engine and cart is in use?

thanks in advanced

The golf carts use a starter/generator. Because generators put out less juice than altenators it will be interesting to see if it can keep up with 4 lights.

ScottyB has a good point......... 4 spot lights will probably use more juice than what the starter/generator will put back into the battery.

4 20 watts are less than the 2 55 watts that come factory on the ST's, the system can handle that a few times over.
