Default 96EZGo TXT Surging problems

The cart doesn't want to move at a constant speed. I runs fine when you accelerate to full speed, but anything less it surges. If you try to creep along at just above idle speed or even a little faster it pulsates like your gasing and then letting off. Everything else is working fine.

Your description of surging problem is exactly what's happening to my 1999 series txt.
I found that the plunger was not centered in I.T.S. hole.
Drilled mounting holes out a bit in order to align. Adjusted for 17/64 gap at pedal up and plunger is going just to the end at full throttle. Was hoping this would cure my surging problem.

It didn't! :(

Any ideas, suggestions?
