Default 97 TXT Performance Upgrades ?

My old Ezgo is getting tired and the motor will be rebuilt this winter. What are some good performance upgrades to do that will still be budget friendly and reliable? Over size piston for sure but what else? Is the stock carb OK? It is a campground cruiser so it needs to stay quite also. I already have the 28* clutch also. What else can be done to the motor fairly cheap?

Depending on your budget, you may just want to consider a BB, there is more options available, and from what I hear it is well worth it.

if you have a 295 eng than get a 350 engine.

you can also put a 295 head on a 350 block. that will add power. but not alot.

How easy can you make the 295 a 350? Is it just boring and pistons?
