Default power question

Will a stock motored txt have the juevos to roll 26x10x12 tires? And if not what upgrades are possible to do so? I know the obvious answer is to big block it but wondering if there is anything else that can be done. Thanks, Boke

you will have to get the rear clutch machined (tom at cpp) and install the torque gears in the rear. i did run a workhose on 27" swamppers about 2 years ago. it did just fine around the barn and all, but we never took it offroading. he sold it before we ever got the chance.

ill check with my local cart shop and see what he has sitting around and what i can get one for

I want it to have the torque like it does on electric. I could pull any hill at CAW and I just don't wanna regret going gas. what size jet b-well and will putting a 350 head on a 295 be worth doing also? I want it to perform well till I can afford a 23hp Briggs. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.

its really nice to turn a key and just drive. stock engines can go for about 200 miles on a tank of gas (all stock anyway). when i ran a stock motor in mine at caw, i would ride all weekend and wouldnt hardly burn any gas. in fact ive gone as long as two months without putting gas in it. thats with lots of riding, not all day riding but a hour or so durning the week at night and a few hours worth of riding on the weekends.

you will not get the torque that your cart has now out of a stock gas engine. only the vtwins can, but you have seen what the vtwins will do
