Default Fuel filter level

Just curious how full should the main filter be coming from the tank? I know these carts dont pump alot of fuel. I just put a carb kit in my carb and the filter is full. I thought the needle was bad. I set my float parralel to the carb body, is that right? By the way my cart is a 79 2cycle. Thanks.

I rebuilt the carb and it seems to run even better now but its still full. Before it was flooding out like the needle wasnt shutting the fuel off.

I agree most filters stay at about 1/2 but I have seen them close to full and work ok. are you sure its a clean and clear filter?

I can see the level clearly. It could use a new filter though. 1/2 is where it was before i rebuilt the carb. I cleaned the carb before i decided the order a kit.

My 84 seems to run about 3/4 to almost full and my 96 seems to run just below 1/2 and I never have had an issue.
